This seminar will provide attendees an overview of the City of Los Angeles Emergency Management Program; review current regional planning initiatives; present ways local businesses can expand their preparedness efforts; review current international efforts related to the evaluation and research of best practice response to disasters; present ongoing community preparedness and training opportunities; and, will open the floor for discussion on ways to improve local preparedness in our communities.
