Jorge Lapsenson – Dean of the Los Angeles Consular Corps and the Executive Committee cordially invite all members of the Corps, Trade /Tourism Commissioners to attend our April 26, 2012 meeting and luncheon. Speaker Biography

Mr. Goldstein is a founder and Managing Principal of The GPI Companies. With over 27 years of experience in the real estate industry, Mr. Goldstein is recognized as one of the leading commercial and multifamily real estate developers in California. A member of the J.H. Snyder Company for over twenty years, fifteen of which he served as Senior Partner, Mr. Goldstein directed the strategic planning, project conceptualization, site acquisition, entitlement, strategic marketing, and leasing of 4 million square feet of award-winning office, retail and residential complexes throughout California.

 Mr. Goldstein currently serves as the Regional President of the Los Angeles Region of the American Jewish Committee, and as a member of its National Board of Governors. He has participated in various diplomatic missions with AJC to East Asia, Europe, South America, Middle East, and the Persian Gulf. Mr. Goldstein is a trustee of the Los Angeles-based Alternative Living for the Aging and is on the Board of Directors of the University of Southern California Hillel. He is a past president of the Sportsmen’s Club, the largest fundraising auxiliary for the City of Hope National Medical Center. Mr. Goldstein holds a B.S. and a M.P.A. from the University of Southern California. Before returning to Los Angeles to begin his career in real estate, he served as a United States Presidential Management Intern during the Reagan Administration.

Mr. Goldstein lives in Santa Monica, California with his wife Marcie. They have two children.
