The Hon. Kirsti Westphalen, – Dean of the Los Angeles Consular Corps and the Executive Committee cordially invite all members of the Corps, Trade /Tourism Commissioners, and Protocol and Liason officers to attend our February 28, 2013 meeting at the University of California Los Angeles.
The UCLA Anderson School of Management and the Global Access Program are pleased to offer a short program to offer the Consular Corps a good answer to supporting the commercial interests of foreign nationals based in the US and in Los Angeles. Topics to be covered are market research best practices, US market entry and raising capital in Southern California. Speakers for the event include from Global Access Program Professor Bob Foster, Executive Director and Paul Brandano, Executive Director for Marketing.
The location of the meeting will take place in Collins Center Building A on the UCLA campus. It is located on the north side of campus and is only accessible from the Westwood Plaza entrance off of Sunset Blvd. I have attached a map to this email that identifies the location of the parking lot (Lot P4) and the Collins Center (Building A). The building is a short 1-2 minute walk from the parking structure.
Note: Newly arrived Chef de Posts and accredited staff will be welcomed and introduced. Departing Chef de Posts will be recognized. Additionally, there is small fee for parking and no fee to attend the meeting.
